Jackie Askew

Jackie from Ennistymon is a visual artist creating her beautiful pieces here in the Gentian Press Artist Studios. Jackie whose work spans painting, drawing, and collage. Her creative practice is deeply informed by her exploration of landscape, history, and ancestry, as well as her engagement with forms like poetry, music, and literature. Driven by an intuitive approach, she responds dynamically to the materials and processes she engages with, allowing her artwork to evolve naturally in the moment.

Matthew Mitchell

Matthew is a fine artist painter who is represented by So Fine Art, Dublin. Matthews work is held in both National, Corporate and Private collections and he has been exhibited wildly in Ireland. Matthews fascinating work explores the contrast between the tangible geological history of the Burren landscape and the intangible, digital modern age. It uses visual art to bridge the gap between our ancient, physical environment and our current experience shaped by digital and global influences.
